This will include post-event feedback forms, tailored meetings to understand sponsor objectives, and improved cross-portfolio coordination to deliver consistent and professional communication.

  • Summer onboarding for half committee: Commence onboarding and training for half of the Sponsorships Committee during the summer period to ensure a better learning experience for the committee and a smoother onboarding process ahead of Semester 1.

Diversify the Sponsorship Portfolio Beyond Corporate Sponsors

  • Secondary prospectus: Develop a secondary sponsorship prospectus to attract a broader range of partners including NGOs, public-interest organisations, and alumni-affiliated firms. This prospectus will outline tailored packages that emphasise collaboration based on social impact, community engagement, and professional development rather than purely financial support.

  • Expansion into NGOs, volunteering centres and public sector: Form partnerships that prioritise student opportunities over monetary contributions. Representatives from these organisations may participate as panelists or roundtable speakers, enhancing SULS’s events/initiatives while creating new volunteering and career pathways for students interested in this space.

  • Alumni engagement strategy: Leverage the strength of the SULS alumni network to cultivate sponsorship and mentorship opportunities. An alumni database will be developed to maintain ongoing contact, identify sponsorship prospects through alumni-affiliated firms, and facilitate alumni involvement across different portfolios.

  • Broaden engagement beyond large firms: Expand SULS’s sponsorship base to include boutique law firms, consulting, banking, and Big 4 firms. This will provide students with exposure to diverse career pathways while reducing reliance on a small pool of major sponsors.

Deliver Real Value to Students

​Securing exclusive student discounts: Partner with local businesses, gyms, studios, and eateries to provide meaningful benefits to SULS members. These sponsorships will translate directly into tangible student advantages by reducing financial pressures while fostering stronger connections between sponsors and the student community.

Empower Every Portfolio

  • Education portfolio: Secure sponsorships for academic programs and the Academic Pilot Program to increase revenue stream.

  • Sports portfolio: Partner with gyms, and wellness studios to offer discounted memberships, discounted Pilates classes, and pool access to support student wellbeing and encourage an active lifestyle.

  • Socials portfolio: Expand sponsorships for social events to include subsidised tickets, sponsored drinks, and discounted venue hire. These partnerships will make SULS events more accessible and help strengthen community across the student body.

  • International portfolio: Prioritise sponsorship with firms that offer employment opportunities to international students and increase sponsorships representation from international firms.
